What i know is MSE can expand the maxilla giving better cheekbones. Ive also seen some results on bonesmashing in the internet people doing it but i dont know there might be risks for bonesmashing. Also Palate Expander created a tooth gap in my friend s front incisors so i guess both has its own risks. What do you guys suggest?

I don’t have any before after pics unfortunately. I don’t have any teeth gap whatsoever. I got it when I was around 14

MSE, MARPE, FME

Zygos are all about genes bro. With a palate expander your maxilla will widen and the zygos will still be sunken and recessed, but like 3mm more apart

try and see if it works

Bro gpt says this "
No, bonesmashing does not work for building cheekbones (zygomatics).
It is a cope-tier pseudo-method, and if overdone, it can actually make you worse."

"
Your cheekbones are not weight-bearing bones — they’re fragile, thin, and designed for structure, not impact.

Unlike tibia or ulna bones, they don’t respond well to blunt trauma — especially not in a controlled hypertrophy sense.

Hitting them repeatedly can cause inflammation, permanent asymmetry, or calcified fat pads — none of which are attractive."

"
No Controlled Stress = No Targeted Growth

Wolff’s Law applies to structured, directional, weight-bearing forces (think: squats → femur adapts).

Smashing your face = chaotic, uncontrolled impact → the body responds by protecting, not growing attractively."

"You’re 16. Your Bone Growth Is Still Active

Your zygos are still developing naturally.

Repeated trauma might stunt that growth or redirect it poorly.

You could literally end up with lopsided swelling, bone spurs, or scar tissue under your skin. That’s disfiguring — not looksmaxing."

Which one is better i heard MSE is more safe then MARPE. I also havent heard about FME
MARPE is better than MSE
FME is better than MARPE
expansion more than 6 mm will really improve ur cheekbones

Gh is good for igf-1 which grows ur zygos a LOT i think

Wider zygos don't mean better face, you gotta have good jaw and eye area, zygos just add to your appeal

I had MARPE. It was completely safe with a provider who rarely (if ever) fails the split.

I got 10mm expansion, I maxed out my expander. It gave me a noticeable appearance change - but if you mandible and maxilla are bad then it won’t be that much.

I had MARPE, unsure about FME.
Expand slowly, but do whatever your doctor says.

What is considered slowly? I have the FME 4.5 and it is a hexagon so 6 sides, each turn is 1/6 of a turn on the device and 6 turns is 1mm. I'm doing a turn every other day until I "split" then post split I am doing 1 turn every 4 days, would you consider this slow enough?

6 turns?!
Do 1-2 man. 6? No wonder people get uneven splits.

For MARPE I did a full rotation. Unsure what it’s like for FME.

I am only doing 1 turn every other day, not 6 turns in one day. I was saying how 6 turns on the device is 1mm total, so after 12 days of every other day turning that is6 turns which=1mm. I was asking you what you consider a slow turning protocol since I wan to stay on the slower side by a lot.
