How can i improve my speaking abilities?

My reading, writing and speaking abilities are pretty bad, It is likely from ldaring most of my late childhood- now, i am trying to improve it but other then reading books i dont know what else i can do.

What do you mean?
If you want to just be a better speaker, either publicly or in conversation, just do that thing. When it comes to any skill development, you‘ve gotta sear the following heuristic in your brain— the practice must mirror the performance.

This sounds very obvious (and it is) but the best way to get better at doing a thing is to literally try and do that thing more. This is the first mistake people make when it comes to learning to do something, they just don’t do the thing, for whatever reason. Maybe they feel unprepared or believe there’s some ‘better’ way. (There isn’t).

You’ll rapidly notice yourself getting better as you learn from experience. You’ll find yourself struggling to express your thoughts fluently (at times) but in that struggle your capacity to do so all subsequent times increases. Happened to me the exact same way.
