I have an occlusion on my right side, so I couldn’t chew on that side for a long time. I’m currently working on fixing it. I have a palate expander, I’m getting braces on my lower teeth next week, and my orthodontist said I'll need something to pull my teeth up (he mentioned a face mask and/or rubber bands, but he might still be thinking about that).
The case is pretty bad and many orthodontists said it's a surgery case, but I’m 17, so it’s not fully my decision yet.
Regardless, is there any way to engage the muscles on my right side without actually chewing on that side?
