HOW CAN I INCREASE MINOXIDIL RESPONSE (BALDCELS GTFIH)

I've been using compounded topical minoxidil + finasteride spray for about 5 months now, along with ketoconazole every other day. Seen a noticeable reduction in hair loss and hairline recession, but no major regrowth. I would imagine that I'm a minoxidil non-responder.

My question is about tretinoin. I know that it can activate sulfotransferase in the scalp to increase minoxidil response but I've only seen it in the gel/cream form. I've been prescribed tret cream in the past for bad acne and that shit was thick/viscous af. Is that what you're supposed to apply to the scalp? I've looked for a liquid form I could mix into the spray I already use with no luck.

I'd like to stay away from oral to prevent bloat or heart sides but if it's the better option than tret it is what it is.

Not yet, plan to start at some point once I have enough for a good pen.

How possible is it to get it directly on the scalp tho?, it's so thick I'd imagine most of it would get stuck on the ends of my hair. I've considered oral but I'd rather keep it as a last resort in case of bloat or other sides.

I would just apply it on the places that is bald and you want more hair growth on I guess. And dude the bloat from oral minox is better then going bald, it isn’t even that bad some people never even experience it. Can you rep me too thanks

I've not seen much bloating from Oral Minoxidil + Isotretinoin so far

Did you try topical minox before oral? If so did you respond well to topical/how much better are the effects of oral

Ive been on isotret + oral minox for about 2.5 weeks. Im somewhat lean, but ive seen 0 bloat whatsoever.
