Are your lower lip behind your upper lip? If yes, then most likely you are recessed.

My concern is having not enough chin projection and that bimax can ascende too, hence this question

It could be the case that both upper and lower jaw are recessed. Do you have prominent nasolabial folds? If you are young, then prominent folds can be sign of recessed maxilla.
Else, I would personally not bother either bimax if you aren’t recessed. Just get wraparound jaw implants from Eppley
