In short, estrogen --> closes plates faster, aromatase inhibitors --> lower estrogen, aromatase inhibitors --> delay plate closure
0.25–0.5 mg every other day of Arimidex to delay plate closure.

Aromatase inhibitor solo might delay growth plate fusion but won’t do much without GH/IGF-1.
You’re just giving yourself more time with no growth signal.
