How can I minimize dryness and redness while on accutane

anyone got any tips? i heard la roche posay can be good, my acne is bad but not horrible so kinda debating if i wanna go on it or not, ive had this shit for like 5 years tho and its not going away. i start accutane within the next upcoming weeks.

im on accutane 30 mg right now ( ik its a low dose) you basically want everything to be natural an organic, like if it's full of harsh chemicals it'll sting, I do use the CeraVe hydrating cleanser just because it hydrates pretty well but that stings. I use some sort of organic wax for my face kinda like vaseline but stronger, and I use an organic lip balm. This is what I find out is best for me. and also watch out for the accutane purge, it's real, ive been on it 20 days and my acne has just gotten worse. Also don't use any harsh products such as tretinoin, exfoliators, chemical peels, you just wanna use moisturizer, lotion, and wax and lip balm.

yea the purging must suck to be honest probably gonna be the worst part for me. Any other negative side affects you’ve experienced from it?

dry lips tbh, that's what comes first, like ive put on applied a lot of lip balm 15 times already in the last hour. But to be fair, there was this massive pimple I had on the back of my ear that is now gone (ive had it before), if you don't have any more questions feel free to mark as solution
