How can i solve my tmj disorder

I chew falim way to much on left side in 2025 and now i have tmjd. It is like disc is displaced. Clicking happens when i open my mouth and whan i open it my so slides toxright side . Jaw looks assymetric from the front. Sometimes jaw feels uncomfortable and when that happens, i open my mouth and very loud and terible click happen. How can i solve it

My orthodontist said: get a towel, make it wet with warm water and put it on whereever you feel the tmj. It helps. Mark as solution
