I dropped a book one one corner and now the hardcover is all wrinkled up there, ruins the entire harmony, and some of the pages are bent on that corner.

How can I make it nice and smooth again? Already left it over ight with weights on top but it didn’t help much.

Close the book and place it flat on the table. Stack other books on top of it; the heavier the better. The pressure of the books will help to decrease the page or cover. Allow the book to sit there for three or more days - do it for longer, one day isn't enough. Quicker method is ls ironing each individual page/cover with a special protective film (that won't melt) in between

like 👍 i’ll leave it under the weight for 3 days then. It’s more about the leather on the cover than the pages, might have to look into this film thing
