Sun is poison, dont understimate the negative long term effects the sun will have on you. But you kinda have to if you want a nice tan. Beta carotene will slightly improve your color, but it will not do that much, atleast for me and im ultra pale aswell.

1+ this. Also self-tanner is excellent for achieving a realistic tanning without any sides.

What's a good self-tanner that looks natural and not shit?

I’m using Bondi Sands and it works well for me. I’ve heard St Tropez is really good tho too but more exspensive.

Using bondi sands gradual tanning milk right now, 2 days in and its tough to tell but i think its working. definitely natural looking and very faint. only downside is it smells pretty bad

Glad that it’s starting to work for you. I’m using the ultra dark tanning foam and I’d recommend it cause that tanning milk stuff seems like a hassle if you have to apply daily. The smell is noticeable for the first day and it fades. Also it’s not super dark, looks pretty natural imo

Just tan covering your face with a towel so it doesnt age you, its not that hard
You dont want to look more ethnik anyway
Sunlight/vit d has more anti aging benefits anyway than if you lived life avoiding the sun.

yeah that sounds like a good idea. the daily application is definitely kind of a pain. its my first time using a self tanner though so i went with something that was for beginners
