Reddit comment from a woman saying she has been using a dating app for 3 years and has not found a man:
Absolutely ridiculous. This woman has been on a dating site for 3 years, rejecting men after men because she is not satisfied with how they look because she thinks she can do better. The ones she does find attractive are Chads that pump and dump her, so her relationships don't last long.
On top of that, she is planning to go back to dating apps without modifying her previous strategy, (not lowering her standards). Does this woman think if she does the same thing she did for 3 years, that it will work out the next time she goes on a different dating app? She thinks it's the dating apps fault, not her, because woman cannot take accountability for their actions.
This is equivalent of guy cold approaching, getting rejected 1000 times, and continue doing it with the same strategy, while uttering to himself "The first 1000 are just warm up bro, there's nothing wrong with my strategy"
How can woman like this be so unaware of how unproductive their actions are?
This circumstance is not unique to this woman. If you've asked out a ton of woman on a date, you'll notice that most of them are single. Why are they single when they have so many men interested in them? Because they have the same mindset as the woman above. From my own experience, research studies, and reading posts like this, I can assure you 99% of women have the same mating strategy, the 1% are outliers.
If you are not a Chad, then always keep your expectations low, because it's only a matter of time before she dumps you. No amount of "I like you" from her should raise your expectations, as words from a woman have little value. They are masters of lying and deception, but they lack self-awareness.
