why do u assume its blind? i will admit that it started as blind. but look into it yourself and try to eliminate bias as much as possible (this is what i did). me personally i find a world where god exists far more likely to be true than a world where god doesnt exist after looking into it. i studied this topic far more than the average religious follower but there still is a small bit of blind faith in me that i will admit is there. i had this thought that my faith was still a bit blind earlier this week so im gonna study more.

I completely agree i think you shouldn't be performatively nice, But I think that it teaches you to be kind without doing it to be seen as good in gods eyes, Also even if it did why would it be wrong or a bad thing? To me it just seems like even without god people are scared of not being nice because of social death or repercussions so is that any different from fear of god?

"No point" is too strong. Would you rather live in a world where people do good for its own sake or people do good for its own sake, and also for the sake of god. The latter means there is greater total goodness so there is a point.
