How can you tell if you have a recessed maxilla or not?

I heard of a method where if your eyes are deeper set than the edge of your nose you have a good maxilla

How can I tell?

If you don't look like this, you arr recessed and wimp skulled. Better luck next time

if you have nasolabial folds, and/or hollow tear throughs, under eye bags or just bad under eye support in general then u probably have recessed maxilla

look at the space between the base of your nose and the top of your lip

if the skin projects forward, your maxilla is not recessd
if its flat/goes backwards you are recessecd.

Can you show examples
 
Your lower maxilla could be fine but you could have a recessed upper maxilla causing poor undereye area and a sunken paranasal area.

Dumb test. My maxilla is utterly raped but I still have this, I assume due to large lips. Same thing with the eyes deeper set than the nose thing.
The best way to tell if your maxilla is recessed is to just look and see if you're recessed. Once you've determined this, just look and think if having a more projected chin would correct this problem entirely. If the chin won't save it, your maxilla is recessed.

Better test is to look at your profile
Youll likely see a line going alongside your nose bridge
If that line is too straight you’re recessed
 
Is it possible to have a unreccesed maxilla and a chinlet chin?

I have an over bite, however only have hollow under eyes, could just be lack of fat tho? I mean I’m getting braces soon hopefully that’ll fix that issue?
