How can you tell if you're mouth breathing at night?

Nose is always somehow clogged during the day but I know I don't mouthbreath during the day, but what about at night?

I don't wake up with a dry mouth or anything, don't seem to be snoring a lot,etc,...

however I know I always sleep with a mildly clogged nose (maybe allergies, using nasal spray for it atm).

ENT said I have mildly deviated septum that doesn't warrant surgery, I had sleep apnea test done, came out with no obstructive sleep apnea episodes throughout the night.

I want to start using tape but don't wanna die in my sleep from asphyxia lol.

Now I suspect I've been a mouthbreather all my life due to recessed jaw, but now I'm like an autist inspecting all my photos from childhood to see if i was breathing, does anyone else does that?

I've been thinking of taping my lips shut to make sure I don't mouthbreathe at night.

You can just buy a cpap strap, it goes on your head and holds your jaw shut.

I'm talking about lip seal. Even if your jaw is clenched, your lips might not be sealed shut.
