@the BULL i'll explain it to you, the war isn't fake and both sides want to end this war asap, russia wants to end it because they already know that it's a lost war, but they won't just leave empty-handed, and ukraine never wanted the war in the first place, we don't need to put zelensky and putin in a zoom call like you said, all that is necessary to end this war is the russian army withdrawing from ukraine. It's extremely important that Ukraine don't cede territory to russia just to end this war, they already did that in 2014 russia signed a peace treaty and countless others that recognized the territorial integrity of Ukraine at the time of the end of the soviet union, but these treaties didn't stopped russia from attacking again, if the war stops now, it will only give time for putin to strengthen his army and attack ukraine years later. This war started for many reasons: 1 russia is an emerging country but has the birthrate of first world countries, they will never emerge as an economic power as their population is decreasing, this problem would be solved by annexing ukraine with their population of 45+ million people. 2 Putin was out of touch with reality, he thought that he could literally invade a country with nearly 50 million people and easily annex it, in every dictatorship, the leader is surrounded by yes-men, subordinates who will only say what the leader wants to hear, when putin asked his subordinates if they could annex ukraine through the invasion and convince the ukrainian population that it was the best for them, all subordinates said "yes" to putin.
