How can you upregulate or sensitize IGF 1 Receptors

If it were to work like with androgens, that higher levels induce upregulation of the receptors? But I cannot just assume that.

Also, could reprogramming indiced by demethylation revert back the sensitivity? However I'm not sure how this could be done homogenously.
