Especially if you were blind and deaf or even also blew off your jaw. Doubt that combination often happens but I can't imagine how terrible that'd be.

It's ironic really but many of them actually want to live after going through all of that. The survival instinct is just too strong.

Definitely true, I probably would too. Just can't help but feel so bad for some of those guys in literal constant torture.
