How come cigarettes only give some people cancer?

There is a old man I saw who’s 95 and apperantly has been smoking since he was 12 :lul:

He would literally smoke 3 fucking packs a day for all his life each with like 30 cigs inside absolute insanity

Nowadays he does 1 pack but only rescently

Jfl and the nigga is older than most healthy ppl get in their life

Also apperantly he would also smoke inside which makes it even more dangerous since the smoke will be stuck in ur house and you’ll be breathing cancer all day long
