I can say love you

But not “I love you”

The “I” feels so intimate to me for some reason now, I used to say I love you to my mom and dad

What happened to I?

Are you and your family ethnics? Asking this for a friend.

i had an ex that wouldnt let me say love you, only i love you

you and her should fuck and see what the kid feels about this

Lol. I'm like that too. No matter how old I get, I always say "love you" in person. You have to really go out your way to add the "I" suffix and it does oddly seem more intimate. I get it.

You shouldn't say "I love you" to any person — stick to adjectives.

Oxytocin defiency, Jk Jk JFL. As you grow up, puberty, hormones, and social life make you a bit more scared of intimacy. if you're post-puberty, you might just be scared of intimacy, have you had any negative experiences with intimacy?

I think it started with a girl who completely betrayed me

I remember saying “I love you” just randomly and it felt really personal

After that I think I stopped saying it a lot, maybe before that too honestly I can’t tell

yeah that's prolly why lol, I got my heartbroken by a girl and I now struggle with commitment (Never struggled with it before) and talk to multiple women at a time.

You don't love your parents. If you did you wouldn't have any problem. I don't love my parents so I can't say it to them, but I do love some of my friends so I'm able to say I love them.

Same with me tbh. It makes me feel awkward. Not sure if its mental or something or related to trauma.
