irl I just have nothing to say and/or don’t care much to talk or say anything
I either mention the weather/how the day is going/ “it’s been a long day I’m tired” etc.

I never really enjoyed speaking ever since I was little. Not because I’m mentally ill or autistic…it’s just because I’m solitary and enjoy talking to myself instead

Pretty much. Ask them questions about how they're doing, what they've been up to, what they learned, and also find ways to compliment them. Also make them laugh and feel happy around you. But balance it out with talking about yourself and your "situation" (if it's bad make up good stuff on the fly), don't go into autistic detail on stuff but seem confident in what you like and how you're leading your own life.
