How come instead of the movie the whale making me scared of food, it just makes me hungry instead

Everyone watches scenes from the movie The Whale and says “omg I couldn’t eat for a day after this movie” and they all said it sounded gross the way Brendan Fraser ate the pizza. But it had the opposite effect on me it just made me even hungrier. Now every time I watch that movie I gotta pig out with him so I’m not standing there starving watching him eat all that good food
