How come Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades of Grey actor) never matched Michele Morrone, in terms of appeal/popularity?

Despite having played strikingly similar roles, what would you say is the main reason as to why he was never lusted after by women to the same extent that Michele Morrone was, in 365 Days?

I would argue that he is a chad (in his prime, that is) and arguably mogs Morrone facially:

But be that as it may, he has seemingly faded into obscurity, unlike Morrone.

What does he lack, compared to Morrone?

He mogs Morrone but looks too nice I guess as in shy and introverted. Plus the films weren’t as popular as the books

he mogs morrone, maybe it has to do with familiarity and context
a show like 365 portrays morrone as someone who can be attained while fifty shades of grey is more of a fantasy so the idea of the guy being too good looking to actually exist irl pervades their minds

Morrone's role and persona in the movie really elevated him it seems, even though he isn't as good-looking as Dornan.

Media brainwashing to change the perception of people might be legit after all @Biggdink

girls went just as crazy if not even more in 2015 about him, it's just that tiktok reached an even more global audience and Morrone was pushed by ethnic foids and roasties on tiktok

when you think of 50 shades of grey, the name itself surrounds your imagination in a grey filter where you are not focused on the actors and more on the idea itself. i see people talk about who should've played christain gray and never talk about the actors because to them its just a rich handsome guy

Yeah, true that. Exposure theory through social media is very legit.
Maybe people won't be talking about Morrone anymore in 2/3 years time either.

Michele Morrone mogs, mostly due to his better hairline and height.

The 365 movie came out during the pandemic when everyone was locked indoors and glued to Netlix. Michelle Morrone being Med also helped his fame because you rarely see a Med man being casted as a main character in hit movies so a lot of his hype came from Med/Arab girls seeing a guy they could relate to. Morrone is relatively unknown outside the 365 movie. Take a glance at the comments on his IG pics and you'll realize that most of his fan girls are Arab/Med because they rarely see their kind star in a role like this. White Chads like Jamie Dornan are a dime in a dozen in Hollywood so it is relatively harder for him to go viral, but Med guys like Morrone are rare in roles like that. In short, it's the timing of the movie and exotic halo of Morrone. Black male actors like Michael B. Jordan who are only above average in looks also benefit from exotic halo because there are few black men who are main characters in hit movies.
