how come only one side of my hair has flow

So my right side is the only side of my hair that has flow while the left side is flat and kinda wavy but doesn't have flow. (Middle Part)

In my experience the side that I sleep on has the curlier hair because I suspect that the head presses the hair into certain shapes then it dries overnight in that shape. Try sleeping on your left side for a while and see what happens.
