how come people that die are never described as a selfish lonely loser with no talent

Whenever someone dies on the news, the family or friends say “oh man, Bobby was the nicest person. He’d give you the shirt off his back. He was so funny, he could light up a room with his smile”

If I died, people would say they never really knew me, I never spoke and was selfish, cowardly and was afraid in my last moments
