I’ve been going to the gym for like a month and a half i can only bench 100 lbs and do reps of 65 lbs (3 sets of 10). When i started my max bench was 80 and i was doing reps of like 45. I keep seeing people on insta getting clowned for doing 135 and i can barely do 100. Is there any hope or nah

You have tons of hope. It's very hard for the ego, but just make sure to keep using good form.

I keep saying the same shit on different threads but my number one recommendation is try the 5x5 program. You will master squats, deadlifts, bench and barbell rows. You'll see yourself keep getting stronger and stronger which is fun and motivating. There's always a new goal which keeps it fun.

It's easier said than done but don't let some ignorant jerk offs on Instagram deter you from bettering yourself.
