how cooked am i?

i have a recessed chin genetically this was my orthodontic journey: expander, face mask for forward growth then braces extracted 4 premolars and also have elastics. Will this recess me even more should i keep wearing my elastics or just abandon the orthodontic instructions? really confused on what to do also had bad crowding and now dark buccal corridors + a 6 teeth smile, new to all this so just wanted to get some clear information/advice.
