apparently it's based of the ways you process information instead of behaviour in the form of different portals considered by jung called cognitive functions so it is less inclined to change and based off old data so an inferior psychometric rn

Don't know how good the theory is but overall mbti might just be useless

Big 5 personality test traits scientifically backed on the other hand are legit predictors of social success competence etc AND they are fluid and can change so that seems the better metric

I once went on several dates with a girl that was crazy about mbti types and had me take one of those tests before dating her. I scored INTP and she basically fell IN LOVE with me based on that alone. I told her INTP is a trash personality-type for losers and she said like 'nooo, you need ur image on INTPs to be much more positive'

she was quite a cute girl tbh. But she lived 2 hours away from me and wasnt feeling it to travel this far for a ltr.

I used to be very proud of the way my brain worked and my personality. I can actually relate hard with the positives of the INTP personality. But I find that it didn't workout for me in practice. I had hope for a long time that 'society, someone, would see the value that I have' but that shit never came. The educational system is absolutely trash for INTP types, especially because of the social dynamics there.

Now I am NEETmaxxing and trying to desperately lower my IQ with drugs and alcohol so I can get rid of the curse of being high IQ INTP. It's utter shit for life quality in practice.

there's something melancholic about having something you wish someone would see differently and appreciate but that reality will never come true because people do not tend to look that deep

being analytical and miserable aren't a package though, you need to adapt to known methods that will cruise you through. Tell people what they want to hear and adapt to get your own way, the world cannot bend to your reality tbh. You have one life might as well use your talents to your advantage AND be happy it's a win win the clock is ticking man
