How correlated are lip horizontal width and palate width?

I know they are correlated but by how much? Are there people with wide palates and narrow mouths and vice versa? How do soft tissue and muscle come into play?

His mouth width is normal. Sean O Pry also looks like he has a bad palate yet has good lip width.
