this is not to hate or offend or anything like that, its more like a question

but i (as sb whos not very educated in islam) just cant get in my head how you could follow that religion. There are just so many things wrong with the muslim religious believes from my perspective (i will give some further down). But generally speaking these irratating believes just make it impossible for me to understand why you would follow that religion. Now dont get me wrong, most things taught by it are good but there are some that are just so bad where imo anyone with basic love for others and empathy would say a hard no to that religion.



here are some examples of these irratating believes:

-Muhammad who is the final prophet and messenger of god (so what he says and does should be spot on) married a 9 year old (he knew her alr since she was 6) which makes him a pedophile (he also had multiple wifes)

-men are allowed to have multiple wifes but not the other way around (very weird and unequal concept of marriage)

-men are allowed to beat their wifes (its called "disciplining them")

-generally speaking women are treated so bad and unequal to men (girls get forcefully married, women cant leave the house without their husband in some muslim cultres, ...)

-the concept of heaven: men in heaven get 72 virgins and most women will go to hell. the men in heaven will just get infinite sex with those virgins (ahahahaha). Also in heaven u can drink alkohol which is sth that they cant do on earth. but wheres the logic there? if u cant do sth on earth cus its just bad why would u be able to do it in heaven? (that concept f heaven sounds like a wet dream of epstein to me)

-if u leave islam u have 3 days to come back otherwise you will be killed



i could prob go on with this for a lot longer but i think u get the idea. these concepts are just based on such inequality and opression and im saying this as sb whos not a feminist or sth like that, im saying that as a normal person

but yeah, why would anyone in their right mind follow islam, knowing these pretty popular concepts?
and again this is not meant to hate, its cus i wanna understand it because i feel like i cant

Bro I am muslim but I question it a lot, being a muslim isn't so bad but living with a muslim family is just fucking hell.

I have to get up everyday in the morning at friday, shower while half asleep, get ready for prayer, and my hair is quite long and curly so the styling routine takes a while. My dad is fucking pounding on the bathroom door screaming for me to get out, the mosque is packed, etc.

If you live in a strict muslim family, and decide to leave. Even disowning probably wouldn't be comparable to what they'd do to you.



Being a muslim is peaceful IMO but being in a muslim family is straight torture.

most of these things don't really happen in my sect, men can't marry another wife without the permission of the first and women can travel alone as well, pedophilia is prohibited here too

Even if it was true How does that disprove the religion? It just doesn't. Child marriages were very common even 200 years ago it was the norm at the time the legal age of consent being 18 is something very new and isn't even adopted every where In the world.

second of all 6 years old is just absurd (u could argue about weter 16 17 18 19 is a proper age but 6 is just too extreme)
