ive had this fucking insomnia for fucking 4 days now and i wake up after sleeping for 1 hour and cant sleep for the rest of night. Fuck this. It’s because of stress i fucking know it. What pills do i need to take to force myself to sleep?

Also this makes me look like shit because cortisol causes my chin acne to become 200% worse and eyebags very prominent. I ain’t going to school until i solve this:feelswah:

Take 100g of melatonin

Have the same since years. It’s the worst and a never ending cycle, since no sleep means further stress.
But they couldn’t find sth in particular.
My cortisol was pretty high on average though, when tested.
But it’s really hard to tackle that.
Do you also have frequent nightmares and wake up with an increased heart rate?

You should probably test your cortisol, if it doesn’t get better soon.

That’s a good sign at least. Could have been high cortisol levels or at worst sleep apnea.
It’s hard. I am still studying, primarily from home but this definitely contributed to me being way behind my peers academically. 25 now.
So I am still somewhat free in my time management. If it wasn’t for this, It would be unbearable.
There are a few other things that contribute to it like my chronic skin disease, that’s incredibly itchy especially when lying down still.
You kind of get used to it but I am still struggling with it.
The most detrimental thing is worrying about the adverse long term effects.
You kind of feel forced to sleep and that obviously doesn’t make it easier.

Treat it as soon as possible. It’s all about finding the root cause and eliminating it.
Doctors, as we know often only deal with the symptoms instead, which is not sustainable.
I even voluntarily went into a „open“ psychiatry 2 years ago to treat the insomnia but all they did was pump me full of unnecessary medications instead of actually caring.
I never slept worse than during these 3 months in there.

Yeah for sure. Primarily my brain though.
Literally everyone suspects ADHD but I believe it’s simply the backlash from long term stress and sleep deprivation.
Physically I have somewhat good aging genetics. Both my parents look 10 years younger than they actually are and my grand grandmas became 97 and 101.

Oh, and i forgot to say that im on vacation rn and it’s hard to adapt to this new room and all that shit so it might just be travel insomnia, but if it isn’t then i will age like shit because my aging genes are shit ( i alreade see the lines under my eyes and my naso folfs are getting more prominent) and that keeps me awake at night.

How’s your insomnia now? Did it help?
I started megadozing ashwagandha and it lowkey works!
Been sleeping 7-8 hours last two nights, who would have thought that curry herb from india would work

Valerian tea helped for a week before it randomly stopped. Don’t get too excited over random herbs working
