he worked out before he waked up and still maintain his physique with his diet

goatis has said before that while he was doing his tour of anti-vegan protests, he would actually proactively work out for two reasons:

1) he had to workout to be able to defend himself from altercations against vegans
2) he was running a test to see how big you could get on a raw meat diet

he doesnt workout anymore, and you can see he has slimmed down considerably compared to back then.
