I don’t think it would have made much difference. I’d have certainly found out about it this year anyway since it went mainstream. My surgery plans would have been delayed by 4 years but equally I’d have a FAR better mental and probably financial state.

Since I’ve given up on moving out from my parents it’s immaterial. I no longer see any potential that I will ever be in a LTR again and for me that’s the only real reason one would bother to have one’s own place. For slaying I will just book hotels or travel.

I’d need to be on nearly £100k in London to have the same amount I do making £45k here in Scotland after taxes and expenses due to the wild cost of living and the wild taxation rates on high incomes. Same for moving to the USA, I’d need $150k because of COL.

Dunno if it’s smart or just pathetic but it’s facts.

I have committed to surgery now, there’s no turning back from that. My personal experience has been that lookism is extremely real in all aspects of my life. I really have nothing better to spend my money on except investing, but what is the point of investing for the future when you don’t even see a future for yourself?

Moving out right now will just take me from being an incel to an incel with a house and many related responsibilities and costs. It’s not like I’m writing “I live with my parents!” in my tinder - it’s evidently still a looks based problem that needs to be fixed before focusing on your suggestions to improve my independence.

Even then, if having a decent GF is the end goal is there even any point pursuing a prestigious career when all it will bring you is more attractive sluts at the end of the day?

Decent girls are not found in the West and decent careers are not found in the rest of the world so to me the only logical path is first to hardmaxx up to the point of diminishing returns and to accumulate enough money to be able to live a reasonable life off investments in a place like SEA.
