How did this ufc fighter go from bloated obese looking face to very angular despite being relatively same bodyfat%?

Bodyfat percentage seems around the same but his face looked very very bloated now it's lean.

It is possible that he just stores shit loads of fat in his face compared to other people, just like some people have shreded upper body but their legs look fat. Maybe he was on roids that coused water retention?

his BF is lower in second for sure ( or he just maxxed out his obliques)
he looks more tan in second could cause the look you mean

10 years or so. His bodyfat is a little bit different probably 12% vs 10% but how can that cause someones face to go from like fat af looking to angular af? I didn't know that could happen

hes also UFC fighter, definitely been hit in the face several times, basically unintentional bone smashing

EDIT: also look into if he has any steroid use, major effects on face.

Are you saying the steroids made his face leaner? Some people here say steroids bloats the face
