How did you cope as a child

I'd always tell myself
"Being tall is good now but things go in and out of fashion so when it really matters for a relationship short will be trendy!!"
"Popular guys just get distracted by girls - its a blessing to be short and ugly so I can focus on work and it'll pay off later!!"

Back when I was a child there was elite tier media (tv shows, music, video games, youtube etc) that made life bearable despite all the traumas, all that is gone now

Never really did tbh, I realized from a very young age that looks are important, as I've had only negative experiences in school because of my face
