How did you feel about finishing highschool?

Damn just a dream about those nigga it was almost last day and I felt really bad thinking I wouldn't see them again.

I miss some of them but one friend from high school switched genders recently so I'd rather keep the good memories in the past and not revisit them. I still see some of them from time to time tho

It was a fun time. Adult responsibilities kinda suck ngl. Only good part is being able to travel if you got the money

I'm nearly 20 and only just finishing it through online schooling since I stopped attending due to lack of motivation and got kicked in my acutal highschool, I did attend the final day since I ended up rejoining towards the end of the year (but didn't finishing the learning) and no thoughts on final day. My social group weren't good to me for the most part

I remember in middle school we were all crying. Damn that innocence.

The moment felt weirdly nostalgic and monumental, mostly because of the image that highschool has acquired from pop culture (cinema especially). I made an effort to record that memory for what it was - being freed from a work camp, because I knew it would only get rosier, in retrospect, as time went on. I recommend doing the same, that way you won't give into Stockholm Syndrome.

Closest way I can get to describing the feeling I got is like when you leave a tutorial island in a sandbox MMO and get thrown into the expansive world with no direction and a bunch of scammers in chat. I got the same exact feeling my first year after highschool and moving out
