How difficult is it to actually run a profitable online community?

Every hamzacel and his dog are trying it and at least 99% aren't able to make a living from it I'd assume
Even Austin Wayne, a guy with 68k subs, 900 youtube uploads and a semi cult-like following of fanboys can only muster up 106 members to his skool community at $12 per month. That equates to just $1272 per month which for a guy of his audience size seems pretty unimpressive.
He was charging $49 per month not long ago but dropped it all the way to $12

There's people who will pay for your advice. Just be skilled at one skill, don't be a generalist. Nieche down and post content and after u gave free advice for a bit create a community. Patrik Ivan makes 70k year just by posting raw meat bs

You gotta be competent at applying group pressure without appearing to apply group pressure aka find people who act like they’re outsiders but work for you so people think you’re legit
