I think my main issue is eating snacks inbetween meals. When I lost weight last summer I just sat in my room and played COD and roblox all day, and only ate right as i woke up (3pm) and later at like 2am. Sometimes i would wake up at 8pm and eat once though.

Sorry for the yap, the point is that during school it's a lot harder to stay locked in, because im doing more, making me more hungry

It's really a question of what works best for you, if snacking is an issue, try to delay eating anything and turn it into more of an OMAD/2MAD thing, personally I get hungrier along the day if I eat anything before noon
Also find a way to do low intensity cardio and stuff yourself with protein and fiber

Yeah breakfast is useless unless you're in the trades or whatever
Regarding food, learn to cook and try to weasel your way into being the cook of the house, everything just flows along nicely once you're in complete control of what you eat, instead of relying on whatever garbage your parents cook in half a bar of butter

Yeah good idea. I try making my own food pretty often (probably 5 times a week i'd say) but my parents only buy grainsludge it's actually horrible and it hurts my stomach
