How do Chinese study and work so much and the West is still able to keep up with them?

idk whos doing better now west or east. i love living in the west but i assume we make less effort as them in life but still manage to keep it up?? how do we do it

One thing I know for sure about China is that they are really good at presenting something way better than it seems for example the ads of their products but you actually get not the same as in the ads. You can apply it to their entire culture.

The billion Chinese can't even make a good AI language model.
