ive been in multiple debates with christians and muslims. Anytime they are cornered they just start denying science, trying to deflect it by saying "Well what about the things it does get right", or just say the whole verse is a metaphor. ive even had a christian who said the entire genesis is a metaphor

it's really a shitfest of fallacies, they cant make a single argument without you being able to poke holes in it and point out the fallacy. When there's no fallacy it's irrelevant and says nothing about the probability of their religion being true. Nothing you can do to change their mind though, as long as stupidity and lack of understanding of logic is a thing people will be convinced of stupid things for stupid fallacious reasons.
