How do dudes make friends?

Making friends with girls / getting girls has never been difficult for me I just cant understand or grasp how other guys become close friends without having a lifelong bond. What's the strategy? I get really bad anxiety around guys that I haven't known for most of my time in school and no matter how close I try to get with other guys its always surface level and never leaves school. I think its because a majority of my family is diagnosed autist and I got a part of it but was never diagnosed

you have to have already been good friends with them since elementary school then just maintain your friendship, adults never truly make friends just look at ur parents

Never stay in the same place (doesn't neccesarily mean you have to move towns). Work many jobs, talk with people in the workplace, take up any opportunity to go to social gatherings, go to community events in your town, etc. I honestly have a pretty hard time making friends myself. I've had the same 2 friends since high school and some peripheral acquaintances who're friends of theirs that I hate for being utter normies. Hardest part is just finding high quality people, you have to sift through so many people with no character or poor character.

The vast majority of people find their friends in school, college or university. Just look at your parents or other elderly people

2. Find people who share the same hobby.
3. Bond over the hobby and eventually become friends.
