My skin is really on and off, with there always being small bumps on it, and some breakouts occurring, not often, but more than I would like. Is a longer skin care routine the cure? Or is the only way through diet maxing? I need any and all advice.

Benzoly peroxide and tretinoin for acne.
Glycolic acid for exfoliation.
Vit c+Kojic acid+tret+niacinamide+licorice extract for extremely brightening and skin tone regulation.
Drink more water.
Continue this till u get glass skin.

Tret and Good moisturizer. Been using these 2 for a year now, can't remember the last time I had a pimple

My advice to you would be, that you should limit or even cut out
your industrial sugar intake.
Than go down with processed foods
.
Then go down with milk products, because they could worsen your acne.

And if you are getting not enough sleep, try to get a bit more sleep too.

And in that time go to the dermatologist
.
This is in my opinion one of the best advices, which is easy to do in reality.
I hope your skin will get better.
Also if its still not perfect, I assume that you are in puberty and a bit of pimples are common;).
So just try to be healthy in general and go maybe to the dermatologist while realizing all of that.
I hope I could help you.

16 and my diet's alright ngl I had KFC on the weekend cuz my mum was paying, and I couldn't resist, but apart from that, my diet stays rather consistent.

Accutane

Decent diet
Spf
tretinoin/Retinol ( Preferably tretinoin helps with acne, texture and colouring ) and a basic moisturizer
if you don't have oily skin that should be it
but most ppl with acne have oily skin
so get accutane most importantly if you do.

unironically just fix up diet and drink tons of water, run hot water over face and seal with cold water, and if you still have redness or acne after that start topical tret. Everything else is over the top. Also wear sunscreen despite what the goblins on this forum say

Should I apply sunscreen daily? And is SPF 50 good or should i lower to SPF 40 or even 30

1.Keep ur face clean but don’t overdo it
Washing ur face twice a day is key. Use a gentle cleanser (not bar soap or harsh scrubs) to get rid of dirt, sweat, and excess oil. Over-washing or scrubbing too hard will irritate ur skin and can make acne worse. Stick to morning and night.

2.Moisturize, even if u have oily skin
It might sound weird, but moisturizing helps balance ur skin’s oil production. Pick a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer (won’t clog pores). If u have oily skin, look for oil-free or gel-based options.

3.Don’t touch ur face
This is huge. Ur hands carry dirt, bacteria, and oil that clog pores and cause breakouts. Try to keep ur hands off ur face as much as possible.

4.Use targeted treatments if needed
If u get pimples, spot treatments with ingredients like benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid can help. Start slow to avoid dryness or irritation.

5.Protect ur skin from the sun
Sun damage can worsen skin issues and cause long-term problems. Use a lightweight, non-greasy sunscreen daily, even when it’s cloudy.

6.Get enough sleep and manage stress
Ur skin shows signs of ur lifestyle. Lack of sleep and high stress can trigger breakouts and dull skin. Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep and find ways to relax.

BONUS: Stay consistent thats the key
(Solution😭?)
