how do i actually fall asleep early

i have been awake for 2 days straight last night i didnt even look at any screen and took 1 tablet of melatonin i have just taken 3.5 tablets about an hour ago and i am still COMPLETELY AWAKE is there any methods you guys use to falling asleep i used to fall asleep at 5am and wake up at 2pm and on sunday night i thought i should stay awake till tommorow night (monday night) it is now tuesday night and i havent been tired at all i was looking at symptoms of insomnia but they say it makes you feel tired i bed rotted all of monday and today i have been at work pretty much the entire day i cant figure out what to do i am going on holidays in 2 weeks and i will be waking up at 8am most days and i cant even sleep anymore am i cooked is there anything you guys tried to do to get to sleep earlier and better :feelswhy:

it cant be that hard tire yourself before sleep gym cardio etc dont rott wtih your phone before sleeping, take melatonin before sleeping if those are not working seriously go to hospital
 
how melatonin didnt work
i have no clue last night was the first ever night using it and took one tablet nothing happened at 9pm tonight i took 2 and at 10pm i wasnt feeling tired at all so i took another 1.5 and still nothing is happening at 11:30 (20 mins away) i am going to take another 1.5 if nothing happens again i am going to the doctors tmr

yes today i went to the gym at 6:30 am and from the gym to work it is a 20 minute walk which i always do (btw i have a part time job today my shift was at 8:30 but most days it is normally around 3-5pm last night i didnt have any screens from when i took the table which was 9pm and use any screens from that time till 3:30am when i was tossing and turning so much it was bad

it looks like over, good luck in hospital i hope its not serious problem

Go to a doctor :lul:
 
Turn off all the lights and avoid any uv exposure for one hour before bed.
Keep doing melatonin (5mg is enough) but try taking it around sunset.
If none of these help, then it's time for suvorexant

BOTB method:

Warm shower then drink some warm milk and zzzzzzzzzs then, idk works for me I also was dosing like 5mg of melatonin when I first started taking it ( retard move) only for like 2-3 night then got it down to 1-2 per night, and I then I've started taking it on and off, my sleep is SHIT been like these for the past months I look fuckin dead especially my UEA I'll eventually get it better.

But yeah try the other methods from above that other recommend then warm shower milky and go zzz
