How do i add a bunch of ig stories without it being public?

I have so many pictures i can halo the fuck out of my account but i dont want to post those pics for my current following friends / family to see .. how can i bypass this?

note : instagram allows stories you posted (only) to be visible on your profile..

I guess you mean highlights, so I don't think you can hide these to some of your followers like with normal stories, just remove them from your followers or stop being high inhib and post them anyway.
