Psychopaths aren’t made, they are mostly (usually) born. There is an absence of an emotional and sympathetic waves in their brains that makes them what they are.

Meanwhile sociopaths are made. They manifest extreme Antisocial attitudes and behaviour due to previous trauma, PTSD etc

But if “to stop caring” is what you are looking for. I recommend that It’s better to be none of these and start adopting the philosophy of Stoicism. Now that’s a whole new book, so check it out on the internet. Thank you.

Its understandable that you look up to them. Due to malfunctioning amygdala (part of brain responsible for processing fear, anxiety and shyness) their fear and anxiety response to stressful situations is limited/muted. Lets say you need to do public speaking in front of 1000 people. 99% of people would either shit their pants from anxiety or at least feel very uneasy and start sweating alot. Those more socially anxious might even get panic attacks. Psychopaths wouldnt give a shit at all, they would be unable to process anxiety/fear response to such stimuli. Such situation to them is same as if they were sitting at the toilet at home and taking a shit. Thats why when psychopathy is combined with higher IQ it usually results in extremely succesful careers. A lot of CEOs and politicians are on psychopath spectrum. No fear/anxiety = no limits, you become unstoppable
