Jews and Gypsies have great means of gaining power but they don't reveal it to Goyim/Gadjé (slander they both use for outsiders, respectively) so I don't know how you can discover the methods... I suspect it has to do with their hivemind/herd mentality as they concentrate in families.

The Chinese also use their families to stick together and gain power and, while they aren't discriminatory against outsiders, like Jews and Gypsies are, you have the problem of language barrier and even if you know Mandarin you still have to get past the Great Firewall Of China...
