How do i become lean ?

I recently got a gym membership and my goal is to be lean, i have no idea where to start, I'm slightly overweight.
I'm asking how i can become lean (What exercises i should do at the gym) and what changes i could make in my diet because for now it's:
Morning : Eat fruits like a banana or 2 bananas
Afternoon : eat something like dates or eggs
Evening : chicken and veggies (for example)
I'm gonna restrict myself from eating AFTER 7 PM
I want to eat less processed, more natural
Anything that actually helps is very appreciated

I recommend push, pull, legs for beginners. The spit good cuz it targets everything. Just search up a ppl split online and use that.

Youre doing practically everything right,cutting takes alot of time
 
Smoking or vaping or some appetite suppressant help a lot
 
i was suffering from the same condition you may not experience a serious increase in November muscle mass in a short time do cardio to lose weight and do high repetitions in the exercises you do

What do you mean by high repetitions
 
What do you mean by high repetitions
Reps = the amount of times you lift/pull something. I also recommend you to do sprints over any other cardio.

it's good but dont forget to do cardio, just 30 minutes or an hour of walking every day is enough
