how do i capture the details of my eye on camera

in real life when i get close to a mirror i can see almost all the details of my eyes, i think i have A40-A50 eyes but when i take a picture of them it literally has no detail even when im taking it like a few inches away from myself

i tried AI upscaling them but it still barely shows any details
