How do I change the focal length on the iPhone 7?

Is the iPhone 7 the worse phone to take pics with?
I have a long midface and I swear this phone makes it look 100x longer lmfao

Focal length doesn't cause face distortion. Just back up to about 10 feet away from the camera to take face photos.
