How do I convince my dentist and parents to get me a lower palate expander?

I’m thinking about getting a lower palate/mandible expander for some time now. But I don’t know how to convince my dentist or my parents to get me on one, som1 who wants to help?

Also is a lower palate expander worth it? Of so any recommendations where I can buy a good one.

I’ve seen a lot of people with a upper palate/maxilla expander. But I don’t feel like it’s the same for the mandible since it’s not 2 bones fused like the maxilla is. What yall think?

U will literally need surgery for ur mandible to expand,at that point just get other surgeries that make up for ur recessed jaw

go to an orthodontist and ask for it. if they refuse, then you probably don't need it.
