How do I convince my dentist/orthodontist to give me a M.A.R.P.E

I heard a lot of people saying that M.A.R.P.E is good for widening your maxilla, I already have braces for a year and a half on now so should I tell them to remove them and put it on?, also should I convince them by saying a can't breathe in my nose properly (I already breathe iny nose fine) and idk if this will help but I'm still in my adolescence
